This wedge shaped British Sports Car wurde zwischen produziert 1980-1988. Der Hersteller dieses Autos begann, Autos zu bauen in 1946. Diese Sportwagen maker has had a very colorful history. This model was the first production vehicle to use a bonded windshield and the radio antenna fixed to the rear window heater element.

Keeping with the companies tradition it was built on a tubular steel spaceframe. One improvement over prior models was power coated steel to aid in corrosion. Suspension was from the Ford Cortina with in house engineered rear wishbones.  The front disc brakes were from the Europeon Ford Granada. 

The rear disc brakes and differential were “entlehnt” from the Jaguar XJS. Power was supplied by the Ford Cologne 2.8 Liter-V6-. with reliable Bosch Fuel Injection it was good for 160 Pferdestärke. Another first for this car maker was an automatic trans. There was an optional 2.3 liter  Ford Pinto four cylinder available but was dropped to slow sales.

The door stop styling was done by Oliver Winterbottom who penned the famous Lotus Elite. Zwei Körper-Typen zur Verfügung standen. A two door coupe and tradtional British Roadster. This model would mark the return of this company to the USA after a six year hiatus. This model would go thru many upgrades during its lifetime.
